Normal Love’s long in the making full length,  Survival Tricks, will be available on vinyl and CD, in May, 2012 on Weasel Walter’s ugEXPLODE label and Bryan Day’s Public Eyesore. NL will be mutating your US/Canadian town throughout July, 2012, so please hollar if you have any shows that you’d like to set up. We haven’t released a full-length album since 2007. After tireless rehearsing, along with several instrumentation and line-up changes, we are seeking your financial support in order to fund the minimum recording costs of this record ($1500), which will be released in summer, 2011.

Coming Summer, 2011:

A simple $10 contribution will get you a digital download of the entire record. Other prizes include past and future releases, and even trips to a turkish bathhouse for you and yours.

If we meet our financial goal of $1500, all funds will go directly to engineer Marc Alan Goodman for recording and mixing, The Bunker for studio rental, and Weasel Walter for mastering. Any funding that passes the $1500 goal will go directly towards Normal Love’s recording costs of releases in the near future.

WHITE SUNS rec release show w SIGHTINGS/Zs:Black Crown Ceremony/Normal Love

tickled that White Suns will be releasing their next record on Weasel Walter’s ugEXPLODE Label. Rec Release show at Death by Audio in brooklyn on Friday, 1/28.

On Saturday, 1/29 we’ll be playing at Danger Danger in Philly with White Suns, Mincemeat or Tenspeed, and Bad News Bats.

Normal Love welcomes the illustrious Jessica Pavone as our new violinist par excellence. We’re indubitably psyched to have her in the band. Maybe some vox, too? Full-length details w/the new line-up coming soon.

Split Tape and Tour in September with Whore Paint

You haven’t seen us this summer because we are writing/rehearsing music for our full-length. However, we’ll be coming out of the cave in September with new songs, playing at Bang on a Can Marathon (sharing the stage w/the funkiest bruo ever, Matmos), then mini-touring and releasing a split cassette tape with the seriously stoke-worthy providence trio, Whore Paint (mems of Made In Mexico/Arcing/Teenage Waistband/) on Linear B Tapes. Said minotaur will be from September 23-26 in the Philly/Brooklyn/Providence/Boston area, so hit us up for booking if you’re interested.
